Piovex Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to deliver the full creative experience Piovex promises, grouped into two categories:

• Your Creative Content & User-Provided Information: This includes all original work you create within the app: custom scent recipe cards, ingredient library entries, photos of your raw fragrance ingredients, adjusted ratio notes, scent family organization, and any information you share when you contact us for support. By default, all your creative content is stored locally on your device; it is only uploaded to cloud storage if you explicitly enable automatic backup for your creations.
• Automatic Service Data: We collect non-identifiable diagnostic data to improve Piovex's performance, fix issues with gesture controls, and keep the immersive interface responsive. This includes crash reports, general app usage frequency, and performance metrics. We never link this data to your personal identity or creative content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to deliver and improve our artistic fragrance crafting experience, specifically to:

• Enable core app features: saving your creations, building your personal ingredient library, letting you revisit and edit beloved formulas, and exporting high-resolution recipe cards for sharing or recreation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and refine the visually stunning, smooth interface experience Piovex is designed to deliver.
• Respond to your requests, questions, or feedback when you reach out to our team.
• Protect the security and integrity of our service, and prevent unauthorized or harmful activity.

We never use your original creative content for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purposes without your explicit written consent.

3. Sharing Your Information & Creative Content

We deeply respect your ownership of your creative work, so we do not share your personal information or original scent recipes with any third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• When you explicitly choose to share your recipe cards with others via export or built-in sharing tools: any sharing you initiate is your own decision, and we are not liable for how third parties handle shared content.
• With trusted service providers who help us operate Piovex (such as cloud storage providers for enabled backups), who are bound by strict privacy agreements to protect your data.
• When required by applicable law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of our users or other parties.

4. Your Rights As A Creator

As the creator of your scent compositions, you retain full ownership and complete control over all your content and personal data, including the right to:

• Access, export, or delete any of your personal data or creative content at any time, directly from within the Piovex app.
• Disable cloud backup at any time, and permanently remove all your content from our servers.
• Opt out of non-essential diagnostic data collection from your app settings.
• Request a full copy of any information we hold about you, or request updates to your data, by contacting our team.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data and creative content from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All content synced to cloud backup is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and only you can access your synced content with your personal account credentials.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, but we work continuously to update and improve our security protections.

6. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy and notify you within the Piovex app prior to the changes taking effect.
